Frames are
sometimes used in web design for an easy, organized fix for
subpage handling. When a user clicks a link on a website
that features frames, the link will be shown inside the
frame rather than as an entirely new webpage. |

A banner is
typically the image that is displayed at the top of a
website. Normally, it will span the entire width of a
webpage. However, banners can also be used for smaller
purposes. This can include: promotional purposes, signature
imagery, and much more. |

image, if it is used, will be seen at the first first
webpage ("splash page") a user will see upon visiting a
website. Typically, these are much larger in scale than any
other image on a website. |

are the height and width (in pixels) of an image. |

A pixel(or picture element) is a single point in a raster
image. The pixel is the smallest addressable screen
element, it is the smallest unit of an image which can be
controlled. |
